ARI Gathering Friday, June 4 in Cleveland

The Asian Rural Institute (ARI) and American Friends of ARI

invite you to an evening devoted to

environmental and social justice, sustainable agriculture and community development.

ARI is a training center for rural community leaders from Asia, Africa and the Pacific. Integrated organic farming, servant leadership and community development are the foundations of this center located in Northern Japan. Recruitment of leaders from marginalized, poor and oppressed communities is emphasized. Volunteers from North America are welcome. Founded in 1973, ARI has been “green” and grassroots-based long before it became fashionable.

Come and learn more about this amazing institute. Christian inspired and interfaith in practice, ARI has been a long-time mission partner of the United Church of Christ. Join ARI for complimentary dinner, a short documentary and conversation.
